The fall athletic teams were honored on Tuesday, December 16th at the Student-Athlete Recognition Assembly. Individual student-athletes that were celebrated for their excellence in the classroom and for their contributions to their teams included:

Three fall teams earned a grade point average of an A- or better (over 90%). And there were two teams that missed the A- average by percentage points.
Boys’ Cross Country 89.6 GPA

Boys’ Soccer 90.95 GPA
Girls’ Soccer 94.46 GPA
Winner of the 2014 Fall Team GPA award:

ALL REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS ARE DUE BY MONDAY, MARCH 2nd (PLEASE SEE BELOW)
Register at family id.
Provide an up to date physical within the last 13 months (if needed) to Dave Comeau, athletic trainer. If you are unsure whether we have an updated physical on file, please call 781-596-8875.
Pay user fee (please pay on-line at www.swampscott.k12.ma.us – click pay fees on-line on the left hand side and follow the directions).
Take impact test (if needed) with Dave Comeau, athletic trainer.
Return all uniforms and equipment from the previous season.
IN ORDER TO TRY-OUT FOR ANY SPRING SPORT, ALL OF THE ABOVE REQUIREMENTS MUST BE COMPLETED NO LATER THAN MONDAY, MARCH 2ND.

CONCUSSION IN SPORTS "WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW"
Swampscott Public Schools Athletic Department has an athletic user fee in order to help fund the athletic programs. The income from the user fee goes into athletics and helps pay for coaches’ salaries, transportation, equipment, officials, etc. Without this income athletics would be extremely limited in scope or nonexistent.
If you are in a position that you cannot afford the user fee at this time:
Step 1: Complete a Free and Reduced Price School Meals Application. Forms can be found in the High School main office.
Step 2: If your application for Free and Reduced Price School Meals was denied complete the Athletic User Fee Hardship Form (forms can be found below) and return to the Athletic Department office.
